Epics DAO Releases the Full Alpha Pack Card List for the Solana NFT Card Game “Buidlers Guild”

2026.02.08
Epics DAO, operated by ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, the Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki), has released the complete card list included in the Alpha Packs of the Solana-based NFT card game “Buidlers Guild.”
This release makes it possible to view the full scope of the Alpha Packs, including previously introduced Neutral cards, as well as multi-attribute cards and SSR cards. All cards included in the Buidlers Guild Alpha Packs are now available for viewing on the official card list page, both as an overview and with individual details.

Scope of the Alpha Card List Release

The released card list includes all of the following elements.
It fully covers Neutral cards, multi-attribute cards, and SSR cards, with all three card categories — Magic, Equipment & Tools, and Monsters — now present.
As a result, the entire card design of Buidlers Guild Alpha can now be viewed as a complete structure rather than as isolated fragments.
Detailed information on each card, including performance, effects, costs, and attribute composition, can be found on the official card list page.

The Structural Challenges Epics DAO Confronts

Epics DAO recognizes that open-source software is indispensable as a foundation of modern society and technology, while at the same time facing the reality that its maintenance and continuity are structurally unstable.
This instability does not arise from a lack of value or significance. In practice, substantial development, maintenance, and operational work is continuously carried out, yet these contributions tend to be difficult to visualize, resulting in fragmented evaluation and participation.
When engagement is not sustained, technical debt and maintenance burdens accumulate, ultimately undermining the sustainability of the foundation itself. Epics DAO approaches this issue not as a matter of individual reward design or incentives, but as a structural problem.

A Structural Approach Through Buidlers Guild

Buidlers Guild is designed as one implementation addressing these structural challenges.
In a competitive card game, a deck only functions when different types of cards — Magic, Equipment & Tools, and Monsters — are combined. No single category alone is sufficient; each plays a distinct role, interacting with and complementing the others to form a complete strategy.
The three jobs in Buidlers Guild — Dev, Degen, and Investor — are intentionally designed to align with this card structure.
Each role has different characteristics and motivations, yet the system cannot function if any one of them is missing.
Cards do not exist merely as rewards or speculative assets. They serve as structural elements that indicate how roles connect, under what conditions the whole system functions, and where each form of participation takes effect.
Through the presence of cards, the roles of each job and their contributions are made visible as structure rather than explanation.

Scheduled Closure of the Current Epics Platform

The currently available Epics platform is scheduled to close at the end of February 2026.
The Buidlers Guild Alpha card list and the minting of Alpha Packs are conducted exclusively on this current platform. This release therefore represents the final state that can be confirmed within the existing environment.

End of Alpha Pack Minting

Minting of Buidlers Guild Alpha card packs is scheduled to end around the end of February 2026.
With the closure of the current platform, the supply of Alpha Packs will be fixed at that point.
There are no changes to the conditions or handling of Alpha NFTs that have already been issued.

Preparation for the New Epics Platform

Epics DAO is currently preparing for the transition to a new Epics platform.
A new application is scheduled to open soon, and further details will be announced at the time of release.

Planned Features on the New Platform

On the new Epics platform, a card pack opening ritual is planned to be implemented.
Stay tuned.
