Why a large restock now

These Solana-dedicated products are popular because of performance and proximity to Solana.
Selection of CPU and memory is only the start. The choice of data center, its rack placement, available PoPs, and whether it functions as a hub are all critical.
You also need an operational setup that can keep systems in turbo at all times. In reality, you cannot obtain “high-performance servers” casually.
We initially tried to secure a high-performance Solana environment for ourselves, and learned firsthand that it was not easy to get. We conducted substantial research and built the infrastructure ourselves.
This infrastructure was created because we were not satisfied with market RPC offerings. For that reason, our products are designed for customers who are not satisfied with market RPC either. We offer only products that deliver the highest quality and the highest performance at every price tier.
After numerous discussions with multiple data centers, our current partner data centers fully meet our strict performance requirements for Solana. We also learned that there are only a few data centers that can truly meet these requirements.

Closing the knowledge gap between application and network

Historically, Solana RPC providers did not offer application hosting, and cloud providers that host applications did not offer Solana RPC.
As a result, only a small group of professionals were able to identify servers in the same data center and achieve the fastest communication.
In the OSI model with seven layers, applications are at layer 7 and networking is at layer 3. There is a knowledge gap here. In the blockchain industry, application engineers are often called upon to build systems, but it is rare for them to also have deep networking knowledge.
This makes it difficult to resolve networking issues when optimizing Solana’s characteristics and your own infrastructure.
We solve this. By using our infrastructure, these network issues are already addressed. The fastest Solana network is guaranteed, so you can focus entirely on developing Solana applications.

Regional strategy and placement

Solana Validators Map
The leader validator on Solana changes over time. Frankfurt hosts the largest share, which is why demand concentrates there. With roughly 20 percent located in this region, it is a rational bet. This strategy has validity, and conversely, aiming for the edge where there is less competition is also an option.
Either way, the key is to place servers close to the target. The network is always the primary bottleneck, and reducing network distance is the basic principle for reducing latency.

Our servers are placed on the same or very close networks as major Solana validators. For each product, the premium tier is deployed on the same network as the primary sources. Communication completes within the same network without traversing the public internet, so receiving, processing, and sending all finish on the spot.
