ERPC Announces Sellout of Tokyo Premium Bare-Metal Servers for Solana with Direct ShredStream Connectivity. Strengthening Procurement and Expanding Asia Footprint

2025.08.25
ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, Netherlands, CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki) and Validators DAO announce that ERPC’s premium line of bare-metal servers in the Tokyo region has sold out.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support.

Background of the Tokyo sellout

Demand for Solana is accelerating across Asia, and inquiries for high-performance servers in Tokyo have surged.
Although Japan is an island nation, a robust subsea cable network and disciplined operations established over many years now underpin today’s high-speed communications.
We will continue to strengthen this key location as one of the core hubs of the Solana network through ongoing improvements and investment.

A primary reason for the sellout is our zero-distance design: we place servers in the same network as the ShredStream data source and avoid the public Internet entirely, while insisting on server configurations that sustain full-turbo operation.
This eliminates congestion on shared endpoints and instability on long-haul routes, securing the theoretically fastest datapath.
Many major Solana validators are concentrated in the target data center, creating advantages for Solana workloads in both geography and networking.
The premium resources provide 25Gbps×2 of ample network bandwidth and high-clock CPUs, minimizing end-to-end latency from ingest to processing to egress.

Features and configuration of the sold-out premium line

The sold-out products are the premium bare-metal servers and dedicated ShredStream.
Metal Ryzen Premium
The dedicated ShredStream Metal Ryzen Premium is deployed in the same data center and on the same network as the Solana Shreds data source. By avoiding the public Internet, zero-distance connectivity suppresses both latency and jitter at the moment of stream reception.
SLV App++ Premium
SLV Metal App+ Premium
For applications, the premium bare-metal lineup consists of Ryzen 9950X Premium (16 cores, up to 5.7GHz, €320/month) and SLV Metal App+ Premium (Ryzen 7950X, 16 cores, up to 5.7GHz, 128GB ECC DDR5, 1.92TB NVMe×2, 25Gbps×2, €240/month). Both are installed in the same data center as ShredStream to keep network latency to an absolute minimum.

Why proximity matters in Asia

Consolidating everything in the single region with the “best” network conditions does not satisfy the practical needs of software development. Development consists of many round trips such as builds, log inspection, debugging, reloads, and editor interactions.
Round-trip latency directly affects productivity and focus. Depending on environment and route, keystrokes can lag by several hundred milliseconds per character, and this seemingly small delay degrades iteration speed and experience in the early phases.
We prioritize not only ultra-low latency in production, but also the “comfort” of day-to-day development across continents.
This is why we place resources close to applications and developers in Asia and continue to invest there. The result is faster iteration from design through implementation and verification, supporting the development experience that the growth of the Solana ecosystem requires.

Availability and guidance

The premium line in Tokyo is sold out. We are strengthening procurement.
Customers at the front of the waitlist are expected to receive allocation as early as late August 2025 or early September 2025. Once inbound inventory is confirmed, we will contact you individually via private Discord chat.
For purchases, waitlist registration, and inquiries, please open a ticket via the Validators DAO official Discord.

Expanding high-performance demand and Monad adoption

Our infrastructure and bare-metal servers have been engineered to deliver the highest performance on Solana, the chain renowned for speed, and this has been recognized in practice. As a result, they have also been adopted for EVM-based high-performance validator nodes, specifically for Monad client use cases.
While our first priority is always Solana, meeting these stringent requirements at top quality enables us to contribute to performance improvements across the broader blockchain industry.
We will continue R&D and operations focused on the fastest possible network and infrastructure.

Commitment to Alpenglow

Solana infrastructure is slated to transition to a new consensus algorithm called Alpenglow. Under current conditions, finality takes roughly 12.8 seconds. Based on simulations using the current mainnet stake distribution, Alpenglow is estimated to bring median finality down to around 150ms, and in some conditions to about 100ms (compute overhead not included).
A roughly 100× reduction in latency will rewrite assumptions in Solana RPC design, application design, and operations. We will continue early evaluation and pursuit of optimal configurations so we can deliver the fastest production environments.

Asia expansion plans

We will open the Singapore region this week and plan to open the Sydney region next month. In line with the idea of blockchains as a “world computer,” we will continue to strengthen Solana infrastructure globally.

Problems ERPC solves

  • Frequent transaction failures and latency variance common in generic RPC environments
  • Performance throttling by many infrastructure providers
  • The outsized impact of network distance on communication quality
  • Barriers that make high-quality infrastructure harder to access for smaller projects
  • Delivering a comfortable Solana development environment worldwide
We will continue to improve service quality, expand the lineup, and strengthen stable supply so that we can maximize the success of your projects.
